What the enquiry form collects
When you send an enquiry, the form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your company name, telephone number, enquiry type, product type, project location, estimated area, required timeline, your message, and a drawing or bill of quantities if you choose to attach one.
The form also records the IP address the enquiry was sent from, which is included in the notification we receive. That is a standard measure for identifying automated submissions.
Why we collect it
Solely to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to a project, to quote and correspond about that project. We do not use enquiry details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
Where it goes
Enquiries are emailed to our own address at Eastern Carpet Trading Company. They are not stored in a database on this website. A copy of your enquiry is also emailed back to you as confirmation. Files you attach travel with that email.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry, and afterwards for as long as our commercial and tax record-keeping obligations require. If you would like your correspondence deleted sooner, write to us and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets only the cookies WordPress needs to work. It does not run advertising cookies. Our caching software stores copies of pages to make the site faster; those copies contain no personal information.
Other services
The Contact page embeds a Google map, and the WhatsApp button opens a chat on WhatsApp. Both are operated by other companies under their own privacy terms, and using them shares information with them rather than with us.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@easterncarpet.com.sa and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date below.
